RONA brings together its affiliated dealers for the RONA Connexia event

The company recognizes the dedication of five dealers

Boucherville, Qc, October 11, 2024 – RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers operating and servicing some 425 corporate and affiliated stores, held its annual RONA Connexia event on October 8 and 9, as part of the festivities surrounding the company’s 85th anniversary. Affiliated dealers in the RONA network took part in presentations, workshops, an exclusive buying show, and an awards ceremony to recognize the efforts and dedication of dealers who went above and beyond in the last year. Some 300 RONA affiliated dealers, nearly 175 participating vendors, and RONA’s support and leadership teams gathered to swap ideas and prepare for the year ahead.

Since RONA announced the strategic repositioning of its network of independents at Connexia 2023, 20 new stores have joined the RONA network of affiliated dealers. “Affiliated dealers are an integral part of our organization and business model. After all, RONA was created 85 years ago for dealers, by dealers,” says Alain Ménard, Senior Vice-President, RONA Affiliated Dealers at RONA inc. He adds: “Listening to our dealers and providing them with the very best so that they can grow their businesses is really important to us, and it’s what will make us the strongest network of independent dealers in Canada.

A RONA Dealer Since 1939

Quincaillerie C. Bélanger Ltée, located on Masson Street in Montreal (QC), has been in business for four generations and associated with RONA since the founding of the company in 1939. For Dominique Bélanger, current owner of the hardware store, the decision to join RONA is confirmed every day. “From generation to generation, we've always been convinced that a group like RONA would contribute to our success. We're proud to be associated with such a well-known brand. We have RONA tattooed on our hearts,” he says.
